Hi Boys and Girls! Today, we're gonna ask the big question..."What the heck are we doin'?" As the restrictions on Covid 19 moderately relax on local businesses, I wonder how long it will be before it's financially responsible to pay big money for a wedding reception where literally dozens to hundreds of people are gathering under one roof, to dance, sweat and drink together?
I would like to think it's gonna be sooner than later, but I also wonder how many people are going to act responsibly in the wake of a worldwide pandemic and NOT attend a reception of such size. And if the wedding party is small, 10 to 20 people, is it worth paying all the money for a huge reception hall, caterer, DJ and decorations? It's a real concern, and I've already had 2 July clients cancel for 2021 and I'm talking to 2 clients about rescheduling their August receptions.
Maybe in September it'll be safer to gather in larger groups again, but if this dreaded Covid 19 lasts till even August, are people really gonna risk it one month after? How many will show up to your party? Is it worth the expense? Let me just say this, I AM worth the expense, but I don't control your finances, spend and act responsibly friends. I know, it really does feel like this is never gonna end. It will, right? Right?
